I am delighted to take note of appreciation the college have garnered over the years right from its establishment in1962. Over the last decades the institution has crossed several mile-stones. It celebrated its Golden Jubilee, obtained accreditation from the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade consecutively for two cycles and autonomous status from the year 2017.

The institution in its concern for the society, offers quality higher education at an affordable cost to the rural poor. Its elevation as a research center from 2011 is worth mentioning.  It offers diverse stream of subjects to choose from Arts, Science, Commerce and Information Technology.

           We are at a critical juncture to empower our students across the diaspora. In this regard I am happy to note that the college website committee has took efforts to re-write the content for better access to the students, staff and all other stake holders. I wish the institution will continuously strive for creating a better tomorrow with equal opportunities to all. I hope the   website will be a store of information and reflect upon the rich tradition of the institution.
